As with many Christmas movies it usually takes about a year to be released, so that they can release it on dvd around Christmas. I would expect 'This Christmas' to be released around November or December, but nothing official yet.

Discover.com store has the expected date of Jul-16-2008, however moviesunlimited lists it as 9/9.

It may have had a release date change, but most of the sites lists it as being released on 9/9.
