There's a long medical term for exactly what it is, but I think that's the general problem.... with an irregular heart beat. Does anyone have any
experience with this at all?

My 12 year old brother is going to be in the hospital from tonight through at least the weekend for testing and observation and apparently it could be
something very serious. My family is a wreck.

OK, more of an update if anyone is interested: He had an MRI done this morning and my parents still haven't heard much from the doctors, but they did tell
them that they have pretty much ruled out that its a viral infection. It's looking more like it could be fibrosis/scar tissue, and I'm not sure how
much more serious that is. Apparently each valve of the heart pumps out 50% of the body's blood, and one side is only pumping out 20%... I could have that

He was bleeding in his esophagus and the doctors couldn't operate because of his enlarged heart. Of course he died a long time ago and things are likely
different now.
