			<description><![CDATA[ They do not make very good pets. The chinchilla is a skittish animal and generally hates to be handled. Their small, delicate bones cause them to be fearful
and avoidant and they will probably never warm up to you. However, if you do get one and it doesn&#39;t work out, you could always make a coat out of it. ]]></description>
