It was alright. I worked from 3:45 to 8:45, my friend and I were wanting to watch the fireworks and so did thousands of other people at Downtown Disney. She couldn't make it, but I got to watch it on my own, so we met up at McDonald's which was closed and went to Denny's for a late dinner.

On the OTHER hand, my other friends were smart and stayed home to celebrate!

My boyfriend were talking about this last night. All holiday's kind of lose their meaning and start to suck the older we get. It's unfortunate. Does that come back to you when you have kids of your own?

it wasn't horrible. we went downtown to Houston and saw fireworks and a concert. we were VIP so we got free food too! yum!! took forever getting out of there though, no wonder Houston is the 2nd fattest city..if we hadn't had my friend's grandma with us we would have walked but Jesus H.

Mine sucked. Sick as a dog. Nausea and neck shoulder and upper back pain. I was in bed all day barking orders at my husband, at his request. He doesn't know what end is up when it comes to taking care of 3 kids. All day it was, "How much.....?", "When do I....?", "What do they.......?".

I still fell slightly dizzy today. Came on me out of nowhere. Blah.....

I had plans to go out to see the fireworks but those plans fell through. The fact that it was cloudy all day didn't help either. I did some laundry and got some groceries so it was okay. Clean clothes and some food never hurt anyone. lol

Mine was okay, but nothing special. I spent the day at the pool with my bf, and then we went a got a bunch of snacks to eat while watching fireworks in the back of his truck. Right as the fireworks were about to start, it started pouring and we had a horrible thunderstorm that knocked down a ton of trees. We were so excited about seeing fireworks, so that was a bummer!

mine was fun. by the time i got my narcoleptic ass out of the house, it was about 5:30. went to a friends BBQ, watched fireworks, and had to leave by 10 becuase my sister had a little too much to drink.

Mine was lame too. One friend went to Vegas with her parents, the boy has a crapload of family in from out of state so he was at those festivities, I had to work, as did other friends. So I was home by 9, watching Music & Lyrics, then I was in bed by 12

Besides watching my fiance puke I had a really nice 4th of July. I had homemade BBQ with my best friend and she and her whole family bought us wedding presents. She made us open them in front of everyone and even made us a wedding cake. We're just going to get married by the Justice of the Peace in Hawaii since that's what started all of this. We got to share a bottle of Dom Perignon and then watched their neighbors kid almost hurt himself with firecrackers.

For once, I actually had a good one. I've never celebrated with any of my friends before so we had a big bbq yesterday and the neighbors were setting off fireworks which was cool to watch. It was great that it didn't start to rain til 10pm.

Mine was grrrreat! I had an awesome time at a barbeque, we played games and stuff it was cool. I got to see fireworks from my house but it was raining so the fireworks didn't last long

um yeah it pretty much sucked. my friends didnt invite me to do anything yet i saw on facebook that a bunch of them got together with out me. Also my boyfriend had to work so we couldnt do anything. So I just stayed home and had a few beers lol

I thought it was going to suck at first since a huge rain came through. We kept on watching the news and they said the fireworks were still on so we drove over there and hung out in the car. It suddenly stopped raining and we trekked all 3 kids to go watch it. I liked it a lot and I filmed all the fireworks and my kids reactions to it. One of them acutally fell asleep during it but it was the first time everyone saw fireworks.

Just for people I know? It just seemed so blah in so many ways and nobody I talked to seemed to be having a great time. My initial plans with my boyfriend fell through because he canceled on me, so I called two other friends and went to the town fireworks instead. It was so crowded everywhere but I expected that, and the line to the bathroom was super long, they barely had toliet paper and no soap at all -- just water. Which was gross. After waiting around with my friends and being beyond...
