No. The subdivision we live in is kind of hidden away and very middle class. Plus, one of the most affluent towns in Detroit is right across the street from our sub. If a robber really wanted to cash in, they would just go to the houses across the road and not even bother with our sub.

my husband left yestery day for work. it was my first night alone in our new house. i freaked out about every little noise, i showered with the bathroom door open (just in case.) and slept with the bathroom light on and the door cracked a little.

See I don't get that. Why do you leave the door open? So you can hear people if they get in? That's pretty much giving them access to come right in the bathroom where you have no defense whatsoever....

Nope, I LOVE it. The only time I don't like it is if I've watched something scary at night, which I tend to avoid doing.

When I lived at home with my parents, I LOVED being home alone! I think the only time I was afraid to be at home alone was when we had a really bad storm and the power went out.

I don't like being home alone at all. We've lived here forever, but since it's a townhouse, you can hear sounds from the neighbors and they still scare me sometimes. Since my dog passed away, I don't like being at my house in general but especially when I'm home alone because I'm not used to it.

I was alone for the weekend and I hated it. It's so lonely and quiet and every little noise is scary at night.

i could not SLEEP at all. eventually i had to get up and shut the light off. i guess it didn't help that i stayed up reading new moon until 1:30am. i dreamt about vampires..but it wasn't a nightmare which would have been HORRIBLE....

i have a roomate now and i only get freaked out if i've been reading a scary story. or anytime after the little kid handprints show up on our mirror. that's when i get freaked.

Obviously this doesn't work if you live alone, but I live with my family and i HATE to be home alone! I am right now and I am so anxious, I have to sit right next to a door with my phone nearby so I can escape I live in such a safe neighborhood too
