i've got about $1500 in CC debt and all of the debt is from when I relocated and had to buy furniture for my apartment.

About $1,500 but I've charged like half on food and bills and the other half on shoes and clothes. I try to use my debit card for plurges.

About $2000 currently. I usually don't carry a balance on credit cards but I had to get a new computer a few months ago and put it on my card. The rest is from a trip that my boyfriend and I went on and he will be paying most of that for me. I'm hoping to get it all paid off in the next few months.

Wow. I can't understand how people can just keep charing that much to a credit card. My mom and sister have them, but they use them so they don't have to carry cash. So they are paid every month.

Zero. The only credit card I even have is for Apple when I bought my Macbook, and then I paid it off in 3 months. I just pay cash for everything.

My parents didn't teach me a thing about money. I grew up poor and watch them not save and spend money on junk.

But I was taught about money in school, even with that I'm not good with money but I'm not 10K in debt like some people are.

I'm watching True Life: I'm A Compulsive Shopper & it got me kinda curious about how people really are. And I'm not talking school debt or anything or rent. I'm strictly talking about credit cards- as in those used for shopping, eating out, movies, etc.
For me, it's around $5,000. Which is wayyy down from what I had it before. I was so careless in college. Thank God I paid off my car & have a bomb place to live for $500 rent.
