1) Because as of right now, I need to figure out what I want in life and get it together before I have to start worrying about someone else, too.

the guys i meet already in a relationship, and other times i think when i meet someone we don't have much in common, they look at me like wow she's an attractive women they stare
and that's it, and i try to make conversation and that's it.

I'm shy, picky, independent, a homebody, easily bored, etc. My friends have also called me fickle and a cocktease. I just got out of my first real relationship a few months ago (I've had relationships in the past but never anything official) and I just really enjoy my space right now.

Also I don't go out of my way to really look for anyone/a relationship because all of the guys I've ever had a thing with...

I'm queen of the introverts. I always go for guys that just got out of serious relationships. I become a fixture in the friend zone for life. I have way too many issues, for serious.

It takes so much to keep my attention. It's not that I have ridiculous standards, because I don't, but I lost interest so quickly. I also don't like to trust people.

Because I want to be single.

I'm far too selfish and happy alone to want to be in a serious, functioning relationship with anyone or, more so, to go out of my way to try to find someone to be committed to in that way. I don't know if that's ever going to change either, outside of occasional FWB situations, and I'm mostly fine with it.

Still trying to get over my last guy. I've turned down a lot of offers here in Austin because I've been too caught up in the rollercoaster of a relationship that I had with him. I'm finally realizing that what we had together was manipulative, inconsistent, and entirely on his terms. When he wanted me, I was there. When I wanted him, he was nowhere to be found. Nearly two years of my life down the drain with that one.

Now I'm moving to another city across the country...
