My husband is 4-1/2 years younger. I don't consider age an issue.

If I was 25, I don't think I'd date a 23 year old.

If I was 30, I think I'd date a 28 year old.

I don't know why, but I feel like there's a difference.

I typically stick to older guys, but ultimately it depends on the guy more than the age. If he's a sensible and mature younger man, then I'd go for it. But if he's caught up in that stupid college frat boy mentality, then I can't be bothered.

I think it completely depends upon the guy! And it depends upon you. Maybe what you need is a younger guy who is at a little different place in life and it could create a balance you need? I say go for it!

Yup. I dated a 29/30 year old when I was 24/25, and believe me, just because he's older, doesn't mean he's mature.

I'm 27 now, and I dated a 24 year old. Upgrade!

I'm 28 and I dated a 24 year old. I couldn't take the whole "I go to the bar every weekend and get shitfaced" aspect. When I was his age, I did it but it made me think that we had to drink to have a good time. Plus he was a douchbag and bad in bed.

Gloridia!!! Chris is two years younger than me. I'll be 26 in November. We've been together for five years, have two kids, we've grown together. We have our differences, but in a sense we're almost the same person.

I think no matter the age, a douche will always be a douche.

i'm not quite 25+ yet but yes, I would. I found a good one actually, I've met a surprising number of guys who are younger who are incredibly mature for their age. that being said, it doesn't mean they are necessarily on the same plane (plain?) as you are life-wise, they might be on similar paths but it's really individual as to if they are actually within alignment to you. I used to be more hung up about age and...

I'm only 23, but every guy I've had a serious relationship with has been about 3-6 months younger than me. However I have a friend whose boyfriend had just turned 19 when she turned 21 - and I couldn't do that. It's a pain in the ass because all of us are over 21 except for him, so we can never go out and have drinks. I'm surprised she doesn't feel weird about it because her younger brother is the same age as him.

I'm 25 and I'm dating a 22 year old. It took me awhile to get used to. I felt really weird about it.....but he's more mature than most guys who are older than me.

I am 25 and my boyfriend is 23 so yes i would date someone younger than me. go for it because like others have said they really don't mature much in those next few years anyways.

I know to some that may be like, that's NOTHING, but the youngest guy I've ever dated was a year and a couple of months OLDER than me. I tend to date guys at least 3+ years older than me. I guess the reason I ask about the age stipulation is, do you think a guy 24+ is typically THAT much in a different place in their lives as a woman who is 26+?
