when people say that the gov't shouldn't take money away from people who work hard and give it to others who are poorer, I don't think they are talking about rich people. I think they are talking about the middle class workers who do work hard for their money but still barely have enough or are still hurting in this time. So, why should they have to give away their hard earned money to others, even if they are less fortunate. I'm not saying I am against helping those in need but it should be each person's right to decide. If you are talking about small businesses, they don't make a lot of money and they don't have a lot to spare. How is that spreading the wealth around? That is just taking from the not so poor and giving to the poorer.

raising taxes on small businesses that are struggling as it is, is not a way to stimulate the economy and create more jobs.

I realize not all poor people are lazy, but I believe I work for my money, I know how to spend it best. As does everyone else. We pay taxes when we buy anything, why do they have to steal from the money we make working? There's nothing right about that at all. You know how to spend your money better than the government does, and if you don't, there lies a huge problem with that.
