Am thinking of doing a bit of traveling at the end of the month... what are some things I should not miss?

Thinking of stopping by the art festival in Edinburgh, and the Blarney Stone....

Also, how far is Manchester from London, and how would one get to London from there?

Yes, we are thinking of stopping in Glasgow, and maybe Cork- but I have no idea what's in Cork, so I need to research.

hey! i'm been living in ireland for a few months (i'm from the u.s.) and i've been to a few cities here, as well as scotland and england...

as far as ireland, i've been living in galway and it's my favorite city here. it's more like a town. it's really gorgeous and there are tons
and tons of bars since you're into that. just bring a good raincoat.

you mentioned going to blarney - that was my second favorite place in ireland! it's really close to cork so you can go there and see the city (the
gaol/jail is really cool and there are some gorgeous cathedrals). kissing the blarney stone is fun but there are actually a lot of grounds around blarney with
GORGEOUS nature walks (and i'm not really an outdoorsey person!), so you can spend a few hours there, definitely.

also, kilkenny is definitely worth a visit - it's a pretty small...
