I find Magnolia's icing too sweet, and it is always crowded. I didnt know about the SATC reference though That bakery struck gold with them being on SATC. I don't know if the bakery approached the show, or vice versa...probably the latter...which makes them incredibly lucky, lol. I'm sure they've got SO much business because of it. I just looked on their website and their cupcakes are only $3. I thought they would be like almost $5 or something with it being NYC. Sprinkles are $3.95 I think. Magnolia's frosting is what makes it delicious. That's what I think. I actually tried making the buttercream from their recipie at home and it was good. Easy too.

Magnolia isn't that good. It's like Sprinkles in LA, a lot of hype for not very good stuff. Sprinkles IS amazing though, lol. Everyone likes to hate on it because it's trendy, and people hate trendy things...but their cupcakes are awesome. Especially their frosting. aaahhhhh so good!
