I tried waking up my cat to see if she can 'sense' anything? |

Yea. Pretty much. She got up for a second, just to move to a different spot.

Something similar happened to my friend and I when we live together. It was about three in the morning and we both had just gone to bed. Her bedroom was right
beside the living room and a door that led out onto a porch on the roof of the building we lived in. Anyway, she swears to this day that she saw someone walk
through the living room and past her door. Then she heard the door to the porch open and close. She wasn't freaked out at the time because she thought that
it could have been me going outside for a smoke. But when she brought it up the next day and I told her it wasn't me she freaked out. So either we had a
ghost that could open doors, or someone was actually in our apartment, or she's crazy.
