Obviously this doesn't work if you live alone, but I live with my family and i HATE to be home alone! I am right now and I am so anxious, I have to sit
right next to a door with my phone nearby so I can escape

What if the bad person breaks into the door that you're next to?!
I'm not scared to be home alone, but I think if I were, sitting next to a door wouldn't help. |

Nope. I LOVE it!
When I was a teenager I was afraid to be alone overnight, but I quickly got over that. |

I live alone and sometimes it freaks me out being alone when I think about it. I don't have any family are close friends around me anymore. They are in
different states now. So the thought of something happening freaks me out at times!

I enjoy being home alone during the day, but if I'm here alone at night I scare myself.

When I first moved out of my parents' home and into an apartment with my boyfriend he worked graves. So I never really slept well knowing that I was all
alone and he was at work all night. I don't care anymore. I know anyone that tries to break in, tried to break in to the wrong place.

when i lived with my parents i would do the same thing. it was weird. i thought being right near the door would somehow save my life. ha ha.
i have a roomate now and i only get freaked out if i've been reading a scary story. or anytime after the little kid handprints show up on our mirror. that's when i get freaked. |

Sort of. I once stayed in my parents' house for a week while they were gone (I was 23). It was kind of scary at night because there are so many windows and
the house is REALLY long. But I never had a problem sleeping.

Ok lemme clarify- I am not literally sitting on the floor next to my front door, we have a living room with a glass door leading to our deck, so im on the
couch about 5 feet from that door

No, but I have a professional alarm system along with three huge inside dogs including a Great Dane that is super protective and could simply lay on someone to
restrain them. Anyone who would try to break into my house is really stupid

You sound like my friend.
I live alone now, but when I lived with my parents I loved being alone. I'd scare myself a bit, but for the most part I enjoyed it. |

I love being home alone but only during the day. I get freaked out alone when it's late.
