absolutely NO free time. Plus, I'm always always running late, and I don't get done the nightly stuff I used to be able to--like working out, doing my
nails etc...

Awww he'll calm down when he gets a bit older. Oh and then you will miss the puppy days like crazy!

This is true. I guess I should embrace it! But she's putting my fiance in a horrible mood. He works 8 hour days, then drives 45 minutes to the house
we're fixing up to sell, works on that for 3 or so hours, comes back, and has to deal with a peeing, pooping, biting puppy!

Oh SHE sorry, haha I got nostalgic about my own (boy) dog.
What kind of puppy is she? Hmm who is with her during the day? If you are, just play with her a lot so she's tired and mostly sleeping by the time he gets home. |

We both work 1st shift, and I come home during my lunch hour.
Jaycie, I knew what to expect, I've had a puppy before. But I didn't forsee it would affect me this much (i.e. stress, bad mood, Shane's bad mood etc..) |

Well thank God it's a puppy and not, say, a child.

I just got a puppy a few months ago and in the beginning it was hard. I couldnt go out on the weekends unless someone else was home to watch her and it just
made the house so hectic. But she is 7 months now and we have already built up a routine with her as well as got her to love her crate when we are not home. I
still don't get go out as much as i used to but i love her to death.

Puppies are hard work! That's one reason people should consider adopting an older dog sometimes.

People never believe me when I say it's like having a child. Sometimes it really does feel that way.
