Might want to change your title to 13 instead of 31?

What? You mean people of that age range having a sleepover? WTF has a sleepover at age 31?

Are you saying there are going to be 31 14 year olds? Or someone who is 31 sleeping with 14 year olds?

Edit: Ok didn't see the co-ed part. So my reply doesn't really matter
I'm confused. Are you saying that there will be thirty-one 14 yr olds at a sleepover? If that's the case then yes. From the time I was a freshman to a senior in H.S. I'd have all the girls from drill team at my house for a sleepover. Either for someone's birthday or to celebrate something we won. Are you wanting to host one or sending a kid over to one? |

Eh, I think that is a little too young...I started having those kind of sleepovers when I was a senior in HS.

I get the 13-14 year old thing, but what I don't get is if she's asking about single sex sleepovers or boy/girl sleepovers. My daughter had oodles of
sleepovers at that age, but boy went home by 10 or 11pm. My daughter is now a junior in high school and the boy/girl rule in my house is still the same. She
can have a houseful of girls over and I don't much care. Boys go home by 11pm now.

Co-ed sleep overs are a no for me. But your title is damn confusing.

I went to plenty of boy/girl sleepovers in high school, but admittedly, my friends and I were really good kids in high school and there was nothing shady going
on. Kids these days though...no way in hell would I allow 13-14y.o.'s to spend the night together.

I think it's too young too. My 11 year old half sister is having co-ed sleepovers already.

No way. I know that most times nothing happens at these things but I don't want to be responsible for when the rare occasion something DOES happen.

I am confused. Sleepovers with girls/girls or boys/boys is alright. If its mixed sexes no way in hell is that is a good idea. If I had a kid they would have to
be 18 & on their own to be allowed to do that. My house my rules don't like it tough shit.

If it's done property- with responsible adult supervision and the boys and girls are in seperate rooms when bed time happens, I'm okay with it. (Think
of it like sleep away camp- everyone can hang out before they go to bed, but then they are in seperate sleeping areas).
But if I were a parent, I would shy away from something like this. It just invites problems. |
