Too XTRM For The Letter E |

It was okay. Too cheesy, and didn't really tell us anything we didn't already assume (which couples would end up together). The only part I liked was
Harry talking to Albus Severus about Snape.

Didn't like it. I thought J.K. would tell us what happen to the other characters like George, or what they ended up doing (Auror or what?).
And yes, it was too damn cheesy! The only thing I did like was that Harry finally had a family and that he named one of his kids Albus Severus.

Did I hear somewhere that she wrote this ending after she finished the first or second book? Or am I completely making this up? (There are too many Harry
Potter things around to read them all!!)

I definitely thought to myself...what happened to George? I wanna know what happened to George! That was the only thing that disappointed me.

Jo said in an interview that George never did get over Fred's death...he named his firstborn son after him.
EWE - Epilogue What Epilgoue?!?! I'm going to pretend it's a horrible dream Harry had when he took a nap after the battle. It was a total crackfic - I cringed hearing their children's names...Hugo?? Albus Severus...nice to know that Harry appreciates Snape's efforts...but naming a kid after him a bit much - what about SIRIUS?! Uggggh. |

I really enjoyed it... wouldn't mind if it were longer and more in depth.

I personally loved it. After all that drama and intensity something uplifting and light was exactly what I needed. I know it wasn't for everyone but I
really enjoyed it. After ALL the darkness Harry has been through it was so nice to see him finally happy.

it was so so. maybe too cheerful and light-hearted to the rest of the book... and I would make it longer and say more.

I liked it. I would have loved more information on more people. It was disgustingly perfect. You knew what was going to happen and who was going to end up with
who. So I guess you can't blame JK for doing it the way she did. I'm also bitter because I didn't want it to end. I want it to continue on forever.
I was totally not ready to leave those characters. I just want any more information I can get

it was alright, i think she kind of rushed through it because she wanted to get it over with. but it's not as bad as everyone's making it out to be!

I just thought that the kids names were corny. Albus Severus??
Hugo and Rose. I guess it has to do with their first initials but I thought they should have named the son Fred or something. |

the only reason it was so off from the previous books is because i think she wrote it way at the beginning of the series. she always said she knew how the book
would end and had already written the ending. her writing had improved SO much from the beginning and i think the epilogue meant a lot to her and she probably
didnt' want to change it. i'm sure writing something now she could come up with a better written piece but maybe for nostalgic reasons, she kept it. it
painted this picture of just...pure happiness no matter how corny it was. i thought it was perfect.
