or not, since we don't really know the criteria for viewing. I'm just saying, it coulda helped.

Yuku doesn't have any kind of payment options yet.

Also, think of it like a subscription - it's not indefinite. When I had a Gold board on ezboard, I paid for 6 months or 1 year at a time. Just because I paid once, doesn't mean I was entitled to Gold features forever. It doesn't work like that.

Hi there I am a yuku member and have been a JJB member for years. My media Central Forum has disappeared. I have posted on there and when I try to view old posts I made there I get 404 error.

Does anyone know how I can correct this. Thanks

but i think it's funny that the people who run this board think what they do in that forum is more "legal" when they exclude certain people and make it private

Nobody thinks it makes it more legal.

They just think it makes JJB a less likely target for people who never actually post or participate in JJB, but just use Media Central as their personal Limewire.

I have looked at several posts and I am still looking for some of these rules and a way to get into the media forum. Where is it? what requirements does a member haave to have to be able to see the media forum? I can't find a link anywhere someone please post with some information like a lot of people also I am in the dark here.

First and foremost, we know that MC is not public. It used to be. Now it's not. That should answer any questions along the lines of "where did it go?" The rest of this info is deliberately generic. It could be applied to any Yuku board with private forums and should not be any more helpful than than the official Yuku FAQs, so I'm not really making this easier than it already is to figure out. Please do not PM me with questions, I am not board staff or Yuku staff. At the very least, you must be a member of a board to view the board's private forums. You become a member of a board by posting on it. This does not automatically grant you access to every private forum on that board - it depends on the restrictions - but I guarantee you won't see private forums on a board you're not a member of. You must have a Yuku username and be logged in to view private forums that you have access to. The members of a board do not know exactly what you have to do to get into private forums. It might be to do with your post count or there might be more to it. Do not spam the board just to get in or someone may report you for spamming. If a public forum later becomes private and suddenly you can't see it but you have lots of posts on the board, you probably didn't post in the private forum when it was public. To remedy this, post once in one of the public forums. Either that or it isn't just controlled by post count - perhaps it has something to do with the date you joined the board, or your kudos. I'm sorry if anyone thinks this shouldn't be spelled out, but people just keep on asking and it's getting silly now. Note that I made a point not to say what "MC" actually is. It's like a private club for the members of JJB. It's not something anyone should feel "entitled" to if they are not already a member of the board. If anyone has any suggestions for this topic I'll be happy to edit the post - hopefully it will not be deleted. If it gets deleted I will put it in my profile. But I am a member of the JJB and I don't have the Media Central. Please can someone tell me if I am or not a member. I have been one for a long time and all of a sudden the Media Central Disappeared. Thansk

You are a member. However, they require a certain number of posts before you can access media central. It keeps people from just using the board for the downloading. I don't know what the post count is, exactly, but just go over to General Discussion or any of the other sections, and make posts--not spamming, but just reply to question posts. You'll get up there eventually.

I lost access, and then I posted every day in almost every thread that I felt the need to speak in. In 2 weeks, I had enough posts to see the forum again. So, that's just my recommendation.
