Join us, Nico! I'm trying to loose 10 lbs. My skirt is so tight around my waist today, I know I'll have red lines around my belly button all night
long!

What song is Dee quoting ^^? I know I should know it but I'm drawing a blank.
Foey, come cut my grass while you're yardworking, will you? I can't get my mower started. |

Boo! I just ate a useless can of pineapple. I need to stop my constant sugar intake!
Maybe eating ice would help? Except I'm already freezing. |

I love cutting grass! Just not in the heat of summer.

I seriously have the worst luck ever.
I'm like perpetually late to work every day and the one day that I get out of the house early I get in may car and I have a dead battery. So I took my sister's car to work and I'm borrowing my bosses jumper cables, going home on my lunch break, jumping off my car and coming back to work. One good thing is that the Smoothie King next to my work is having their grand opening and they have smoothies all day for a dollar! How's everyone else's day so far? |

I don't mind cutting the grass, I hate weeding. When I left for Mass. the grass was already long and I told DH I couldn't get the mower started. He
said he'd take care of it, of course.
Of course, he didn't! I did scared DH into a promise-- y'see he has only one real day off a week and even then he's usually doing something for work. Because of time constraints, the outside of the house has fallen greatly. Our front porch has reached a danger point though and he wanted to spend tax dollars on a carpenter to fix it. This morning I showed him my plan to fix it myself-- "Hon, I know how to use a circular saw and drill; I know I can do it..." and he promised me this Monday is OUR DAY WITH NOTHING ELSE and he and I will fix it together. I'll let y'all know Tuesday how well that went! |

mm, how close to you live to your parents? When I was married, the "You have until Friday to do this, or I'm calling my dad to come over and do
it." worked like a charm!

700 miles! It ain't gonna happen!
Actually my dad is a great carpenter. I kept dropping hints about the porch when I was visiting last week but he just grinned. They don't even come to visit anymore-- I barely got them here for my daughter's wedding! |

The Sonic around here is still pretty far away so I'm safe.
Whenever I mention my dad coming over to fix something - hubby is always "OOOOOHHH boy" (because he thinks my dad doesn't know anything - but he has his own business doing handyman type work!) |

Carissa - I hope you have better luck with your car!
So a co-worker has switched her music from a country station at a low volume to a rock station at a medium volume. I asked her what happened to the country station (thought maybe it changed - we get VERY LITTLE radio reception in here) and she replied with "I got tired of it. Will this be a problem?" Someone got up on the wrong side of the bed today. Geesh!!! |

gah. morning people.
what a craptastic morning i'm having. i'm somehow pissed off my sister-in-law (who also works with me.) and she was over there like...yelling in japanese for about 15 minutes. my brother said she's upset because she feels like i tell her what to do. which usually isn't the case but if someone comes in needing shipping papers while she's gone (some of which i don't know how to process) when she comes back i say "sachiko, keith needs usf holland papers" or i'll ask her to do ups because the program is on her computer. sometimes she'll do it but other times she'll get up and let me use her computer. so i asked my brother if i should apologize or something but he said no and not to worry about it, she'll be fine.. but now things are all awkward and our desks are right next to each other... |

Joana - have you tried talking to her since she yelled at you? Maybe you could explain to her what you just explained above.
