He really saved that game for the Pens because some of those saves were amazing. Second, I'm still pissed at how the Detroit media was all, "start planning the parade!" "Nick is going to be the first European captain to accept the cup!" SHUT UP! Stop acting like it's wrapped up--because it's not! I haven't read anything online yet today, but twenty bucks there will be headlines like, "Oh, the Wings are done now!" They were saying that the 5 on 3 penalty kill could be a big turning point for the Wings but now I hope that this OT win for the Pens isn't a turning point for them. Someone needs to break Fleury's kneecaps.

Wings out shot and out played the Pens like crazy, but they couldn't score as Fleury was stellar. I hated how the media was also talking about the parade, etc. Jinx it much? I justhope the Wings can go into Mellon and finish it up in game 6 because my nerves can't take a game 7!

He's been my favorite since we drafted him and I remember having to defend him constantly against all kinds of lame people who said he sucked and would never amount to anything, blah blah blah. After Game 4, people were calling for his head. Wonder what they have to say now? The odds are still stacked against the Pens, but no matter what happens, I'm proud they didn't hang their heads and give Detroit the Cup last night.

Isn't that feeling of seeing one of your boys succeed in grand fashion such a great one?!

My heart was pounding from the first face off last night until the end of the game. See I'm really of two minds on this. A part of me wants the Wings to wrap it up ASAP. Another part wants as much hockey as possible before the winner is decided. Plus a Game 7 in the Finals... I mean that's when it's all on the line for both teams and the best is brought out in everyone. I guess we'll see what the teams feel like doing tomorrow.
