I live in the united states and I was wondering if anyone knew where a good vacation spot would be besides hawaii to get warm weather in december?
edit: it can be somewhere tropical, hawaii is just way too expensive at the days we are interested in.vacation question-- looking for suggestions

Miami and San Diego are probably your best bets

Oh sorry, for some reason I misread and thought you said you wanted to stay in the US.
I enjoyed Cancun and the Bahamas. I've always wanted to go to St. Barts, the pictures are beautiful |

If Hawaii is too expensive, it's likely that a lot of Caribbean places are too, unless you're willing to stay at a Holiday Inn or something.

Cancun.... Cabo San Lucas.... Puerto Vallarta.
My husband and I enjoy Puerto Vallarta the most.

I stayed in the Mayan Riviera in December. It was gorgeous. It's about an hour south of Cancun.

Airfare to the Caribbean is insane right now. I wanted to go to the British Virgin Islands for a week and three months ago the airfare was $675 for one person.

OMG, don't go to the Keys - it's the tackiest place ever. I almost passed out when I walked passed all these college girls with their boobs falling out
of their tops and topless drunk dudes on the main street. If you want to relax, it is NOT the way to go.
