He was 14 years old and had a good life, but I just ... can't believe he's gone. We had him since I was 6 years old, so I feel like I just lost a piece
of my childhood today. The hardest part is it was so sudden that I was at work and didn't even get to say goodbye.

Aww I'm so sorry!
 We had to put my last dog to sleep when she was 14 as well.
