Wow, that was quick (if this is true). Didn't it just come out in theaters a few weeks ago? I wonder why they didn't just put it straight to
DVD.
I read that movie cost $60 million to make.

And all movies go to DVD fast these days, so this isn't really any kind of surprise. |

Most movies come out 6 months or so after they are released. If it bombs it's not surprising it comes out quickly. Usually a bomb will come to DVD about
3-4 months after its theater release. So that's about right.

^^ Sometimes not even the bombs... I remember "Knocked Up" coming out in September last year and it came out in theatres in June.

I had a feeling it wouldn't be that successful even though it is Mike Myers...after I saw the previews. Yeah that's true that DVDs do come out fast. When I think of how much was spent on making this movie and then for it to not do well, I'm like

$60 million really isn't that much for a movie these days, although usually comedies aren't quite so expensive. I have a feeling that the movie will
end up breaking even or even making some money once it goes to DVD.

You guys almost always get movies before we do, unless they're British made. I think the only reason we get albums before you do is that our
sales week starts Monday and yours Tuesday
