Your hair is beautiful, definitely don't color it. If you want a change I agree with getting it cut instead. Something maybe to your shoulders or a little below and layered.
Should I get my hair colored?

I definitely wouldn't go with a red that is so orangey. I would at least start with a brown/red then move lighter if you like it.

omg, PEOPLE wtf is wrong with you? please treat her like a normal person. Forget about what all those negative comments. She doesnt need you to defend her as
she already was capable of defending herself. She is not 5 for god's sake. She came here about her hair and this is what it turned into. 3 whole pages
about what she ,he, they said. Who cares!! At least this user has a life other than sit here and feel bad for herself because of what someone else said.

if you check out instyle.com/hairmakeover i think you would be able to try out Ashlee's hairstyle/colour on a photo of yourself. I agree with whoever said
that it's really hard to maintain, it 'rusts' easy and the upkeep might fuck with your hair quality.

As someone's who's dyed their red a couple of times, let me just remind everyone that as hard as it is to keep from fading to a shitty tone, it's
also a BITCH to get out! Those red tones will stick like a beast.

I would cut it a bit and get side swept bangs, I would leave the color as is though.

Wow, I go away for a few hours and come back to three pages of people fighting on my behalf.
Thank you to everyone that's stuck up for me, but trust me, I'm not
bothered by it. It's not the first time someone's told me to eat a hamburger/sandwich.
To Georgian: Believe me, I wish it was as simple as doing such that. I would give anything to be able to gain a little weight and maybe grow some boobs, unfortunately I not only have MD but being tall and thin runs in my family. I have four brothers that are all 6' tall and are stick figures. We all have super fast metabolisms. To the person that asked if I have a trach, yes I had a tracheotomy back in 2001 when my lungs collapsed due to pneumonia. To Timeishoney: Thanks for trying to be nice, I understand where you were coming from, but don't feel sorry for people. Don't assume my life sucks just because I'm in a wheelchair. You don't know anything about me. To everyone that said I should layer my hair or get highlights: I've had highlights before. They don't really do much. And that photo was taken last December. I've had my hair trimmed and layered since then. I think it was in January, so it's grown out some now. Almost back to the length in the pic. And yes, I was thinking of getting the layers trimmed back up. I don't think I'm going to go for Ashlee's cut though. And no my hair isn't naturally straight like in that photo. It's got some natural wave to it. I wish it was straight like that all the time but it's not. Also, my mom
had me get a bob back when I was like 13 and I hated it so much. I would never dare to get it cut like that again.
I'm really scared of change but I'm also craving it really bad. I don't know what to do. I'm going to the mall tomorrow, so I think I'll stop in the hair salon and ask a stylist what they think. |

amen to being hard to get red out. It's not keeping the red that the problem, it's keeping the TONE of red that is!
Anyone else have crappy feeling hair when it's red? I'm naturally med. brown headed, and if I go any shade of red whatsoever, my hair flips out completely. It feels like crap. Blonde I can do, but red it feels all fried and can';t keep it straight for nothing. |
