Not to mention the "a gift for you" card that said, "Thanks for your business"
I missed that part. Oh snap.
I'd be pissed, too. It might not be illegal but it is sneaky. Unfortunately there are a lot of dickheads on ebay.

sellers, I know that much. But I think the biggest thing is that the 'distributor' is freaking Walmart.com! But like I said, I could see what you guys were saying if this seller ALREADY OWNED the comforters and then sold them for a ridiculous price. I mean, I understand what you're saying now...it's just that this is SO wrong. |

It's your fault for not looking up your options. She really didn't screw you out of your money. You made the decision to spend that much.

LOL you all are ridiculous [well not all haha]
It says on the bid page about it being shipped from the retailer, or whatever [too lazy to go quote] - you should have asked what the retailer was or looked around more when you were shopping. I see nothing wrong w/ what the seller did - people do stuff like that all the time - it's EBAY! Not everything sold on there is already owned by the seller, haha. People make a profit from the buyers being too lazy or too careless to look for the items themselves or to go buy from the store instead. |

People sell shit on Ebay to make money. That's the point of Ebay.My friends boyfriend does this. He didn't even have a job for awhile. He just bought stuff and sold it for more on ebay. He was making pretty good money doing it. |

profit I don't mind...$10 I probably wouldn't have said a word about--because it WAS easy to buy from there.
But $30.00 and the bitch didn't even have to get off her ass to ship it?? Fuck her

Dylishis wrote: I am so sorry you feel taken advantage of. I can assure you I did not make 30 dollars off of you. eBay charges selling fees and listing fees then PayPal charges transaction fees as well. Not to mention shipping fees that usually exceed the 9.99 I charge per item. The item description clearly states the item will be shipped directly from a retailer. My store policy clearly states my policy on refunds/returns. You purchased the item fully informed and certainly could have shopped around before your purchase on ebay. I obviously do not sell merchandise on eBay for any other reason than to make a profit. I can not stop you from leaving negative feedback and I can assure you I will not leave anything negative about you regardless of your comments about me. Once again, I am so sorry for any grief I have caused you. Kristi smartass. Her fees were most likely less than $5.00 and her shipping was overpriced as well--only by $2 so no big deal. Like I said, had she made $10 or so it would be a different story but $30.00? That's highway robbery where I come from! |

She's right about the fees. That's why some people have left Ebay, especially those who sell handmade items. The fee's are crazy!
I'm sure I have been screwed over on Ebay but IT IS Ebay! |

but I sell on Ebay and the fees are NOT that crazy-maybe $5.00 per item.
WHY y'all think she wasn't in the wrong in the least is beyond me. I hope y'all never get screwed over on Ebay

And do you seriously not see anything wrong with what she did?I feel the same way about that as I do about Wal-Mart probably buying the comforter for about $10 and selling it for three times the price. Things are worth what people are willing to pay. |
