The second half of the movie was brilliant. I was really bored for the first half, but once the Joker was captured I was sucked in. The Joker was my favorite
of course. Christian Bale was a little dull.

I kind of agree about Two-Face. They could've done it the way they do with some comics: have a story centered around the main character & another
character. In this case, it could've been Batman & The Joker, but then again, Harvey Dent played a crucial part to this story.

I completely agree with whoever said they could have saved two face for the next movie because there is obviously going to be a next movie with all of the
numbers coming in. I wasn't crazy about this movie, at all. I'm not even sure why, it just didn't hit home for me. I need to let it sink in for a
day or so and I might even see it, again but... I was dissapointed.
I loved all of the Joker's lines, though, especially when Bruce told him to let Rachel go and he said that was a terribly choice of words and threw her out. Favorite line of the movie, by far. I stayed through the credits to see Heath's name, too and I never do that. I'm the person who's standing off to the side five minutes before the movie is over so I can leave quickly, but it just seemed right to stay and see his name up there one last time. |

Like, for example, at the fundraiser he held for Harvey - where he was walking around as Bruce [with the 3 sluts, LOL!! loved it] and all his 'friends' were there. And then he comes back in as Batman - if he didn't change his voice - the people there would have been like 'umm bruce? huh? WTF are you doing.' And given that the Joker had a thing for wanted to 'see' who Batman was - would have totally defeated the point. Agreed. He's essentially playing three different characters, Bruce Wayne, Bruce the billionaire, and Batman...so when I think about that its okay. Anyways, Heath stoled the show, he was amazing!

Thanks for those links, Ninido and JaimJaim. I'm downloading everything now.
I hope to see the film again, probably Sunday afternoon, and I may even go by myself. I don't think my husband wants to go again, and the only other option is my sister. Anyway, it's definitely worth another viewing just to take everything in since there was SO much going on during the movie. Plus, how can you not want to see that amazing Joker again? Speaking of which, did anyone else get chills when...

I bet he isn't really though. i didn't think about that at all til later on. and it would make sense, since batman/bruce wanted him to go out like he should've. |

The only part that really took me out of the movie and made me remember Heath is gone was when
Did that disturb anyone else? You could hear the entire theater collectively suck in a breath. |

Yes, same for me, glitter. I frowned and got sad. It was just a little too close to home. My theater got very hushed there, too.
I heard they were thinking
of removing that scene at one point.

I guess I'm glad they kept it in and stayed true to the film. I really believe that he would've wanted that. I'm sure it wasn't easy for his
family to see though.

I agree. I'm glad they kept it in, because what happened right after that was just awesome.

I just went to it a 2nd time and I love it even more. Christian Bale is the hottest Batman ever. He is so incredibly fuckable. I wish you could buy the DVD
now.

I want to go a 2nd time! I was also thinking that about the DVD. I have a feeling it will be a long wait. The movie is already available for download online,
though. Well, illegally, but still.

i thought the same thing about the boats and I feel the same way about the Batman voice. If he didn't change his voice, everyone would know it was him.
What bothers me about him as Batman are his K9 teeth. They seem to stick out so much more qhen he is dressed up as batman and they bug me.
