I'm just curious. I read on another board where there was a restaurant with a familiar name to the "shucking and jiving". I did a google and
sure a restaurant called ShuckNJive does exist in Texas. I don't know what the phrase means but if what is said is true, how did these people get away
with it?

I heard that phrase when I was a kid. Never knew it had to do with race but I guess that makes sense now that I look at it. I always saw it as someone bullshittin' ya. |
