One of my guy friends has a girlfriend who is leaving soon. We flirt all the time and I'm aware that he is definitely mentally/emotionally cheating.
It's like he has already checked out of the relationship but want things to end naturally as she leaves because he wants to preserve the friendship they
had before dating. I've also made it clear that I don't want him to cheat or break up with his girlfriend. Anyway, there is SO much sexual tension
between us and we're both very aware of it. Our mutual friends have started asking us what's up, noticing all this chemistry we have that's
apparently completely obvious to anyone paying a little bit of attention. I don't even know what I'm asking. Thoughts, opinions, experiences? I
don't particularly want to be in this situation and can't seem to take myself out of it!

She's moving like 5 hours away by car and he doesn't see it working out, but she wants to try. He has no desire to make that drive and says he can't do long distance relationships. Has he told her that? Because it really sounds like he wants out, and he should definitely let her know that BEFORE she goes. |

She's adamant that it will work because she's planning on coming back 2 weekends a month. The problem is that he works on weekends and he knows he'll want more attention/time than that. Just be respectful of their relationship, and wait until he calls it off to do anything. No matter what he says about her, and how awful he makes her sound,
