She can hold her on and he certainly doesn't need to be associating with her musically when he has no real reason to. Yes! Say whatever you want about Britney, but she has always brought it when it comes to her music. I mean, look at Blackout. She was going through a lot
and still made a damn good CD. That is one area she has down 100%. She does not need Justin Timberlake to rescue her.

but I just don't see them randomally meeting in a studio and working something out. They don't even talk or run into each other.
