Just keep in mind that it's still a lot of work on your part. It's not an easy fix, and it's a huge lifestyle change. You'll gain it back if you don't stick with it.
Well that's just stating the obvious.

I want that kind of insurance. We'll be paying $6000 for my pregnancy and childbirth. ($3K deductible, $3K out of pocket)

My neighbor had that surgery and she didn't learn a damn thing. She still tries to stuff her face like she used to, but the only difference now is she
throws up when she does it. It's so annoying to watch her fill her plate and then leave the room to throw up and then continue eating when she's done.

Oh, and our insurance isn't crap insurance. It's the same insurance that is offered to all the State employees. I'd hardly call it crap

You do realize you're going to have to change your eating habits, right? Cause you seem to struggle with that already.

And I hate people who think having the surgery is the easy way out. Does having surgery seem easy to you? It's going to be painful, and I won't be able
to eat solids for about 6 weeks. It's not going to be easy, it's not going to be fun but it's necessary for me to have a complete and utter
lifestyle change. I've tried every diet out there, my entire family is obese, most of them have suffered from heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes,
etc. I just do not want to go down that same road. I want to be healthy. Having the surgery does not mean that I won't have to work hard. I will still have
to diet, and excersize just like everyone else. I'm capable of doing that, it's just hard to do when you never really see any results.
Try watching Big Medicine on Discovery Health, maybe you'll understand why this is necessary for some people. |

Good luck with everything. From what you have said in this post (ignoring other people's comments), it seems like you know that the process just starts
with the surgery. My best friend from high school had it in the fall of our senior year. She did really well at first (lost over 200 pounds...) but then she
found ways to cheat and stopped eating as well. She's since gained it all back and then some.

I've seen the surgery and stuff. I've seen pictures of you. I've also seen you talk about pizza and eating habits that you have problems changing.
So I can't say that you have tried that hard.
I do realize that people need it. It could be a medical problem that had them gain the weight and stuff or whatever. I just don't think considering all your posts about food and such that you tried. But that's just my opinion. |

Oh and it is the easy way out. Try sweating a little and working out. And not eating junk food. Instead of saying "Mr doctor here we go". Yeah you
don't eat solid foods and such, but really what did YOU do to lose the weight. Nothing.
