I had a mixture of someone dropping me off. When I was in elementary school my sister was in high school so sometimes she would drop me off on her way to
school. My school was less than a mile away. But sometimes my mom would take me to school because she was a director at a before and after school program where
kids go and play until the parents come and pick them up or drop them off. So it was a mixture. I remember HATING to get up everyday at 5am to get ready for
school. I thought it was pure torchure for me, but I had to do it. In 2nd grade we had to get bussed to another school because our school back then had
kindergarten thru 1st then 3rd thru 6th. But now it has all grades. So it was a mixture all the way up to high school.

I got to and from school mostly by bike, but ocasionally I'd walk or my mother would drop me off and pick me up after school. When I got to HS I had to
take the bus because it was too far away.

I took the bus for a little while in 1st grade but it took an hour to get home when I live five minutes away (by car). Our school didn't have it's own
bus system, so we were bussed to another elem. school and had switch buses.
After that, I was dropped off. |

Parents dropped us off in the morning and we caught the bus or walked home. We lived about a five minute drive away but the bus got us home later than if we
walked because our school was too small to have it's own service so we shared with the other schools who all got picked up first, plus it cost a dollar.
Sucked.
