Sparkle was a good movie though.

Hearts. In Dreamgirls, the guy says The Creamettes instead of The Dreamettes.

In Dreamgirls, the guy says The Creamettes instead of The Dreamettes. Yeah, the success of the movie inspired the Broadway production of Dreamgirls. That's where the name Effie came from, too. Ironically, they re-released Sparkle on DVD with the cover redone to look like the Dreamgirls DVD cover.

Before she died, Aaliyah was gonna do it with Whitney Houston producing. Then Ashanti's name was thrown in there. The last I heard was Raven Symone. LOL
