I graduated in April, and I'm going through a severe depression right now.

I just graduated in April and it totally sucks right now. I've been searching for jobs and been on a few interviews but nothing.

I just graduated in May and started a full time job in July. I really like my job. I also love the house I just moved into and I finally got my own cat, and my
friends hang out over here allll the time. It's been a lot of fun so far. Yet, for some reason, I still really miss being on campus.

Graduated in May: I moved back home into my parent's house in Pittsburgh. I work 2 retail jobs and will go back to school for my Masters in January.
I'm depressed a little bit about now being out of school. I love my college, I loved my social/work/school life while there. Its going to be worse on Friday when I go help my brother move in and I have to come home. I will probably cry. However, the good thing is most of my college friends are in my area now, so they don't make me feel so shell shocked about leaving. Give me about 6 months and I'll be fine. |

I also graduated in May. I've had about five job interviews and nothing. But I've wedged myself into a niche that is just about non-exsistent. I
want to work at an architecture firm doing marketing/communications. I have two degrees a B.A. - Journalism and a B.S. - Architectural Studies ... so I'm
stuck at home with my parents, going insane. Because I went away to school, none of my friends live where I'm at. It's just blah. I need a change of
scenery, and desperately want to be in Arkansas - not Texas. Definite depression ...

It took me six months to find a job, and I actually have two part time jobs, one at Target and one as an after school childcare director. The second job is
closer to what I'd like to do with my life (I have a degree in Psychology and Children's Literature and I'd like to be involved in Education), but
I need both jobs to survive and pay off my student loan debt. I'd like to go back to school eventually, once I figure out what I want exactly.

I just graduated in May & went to NYC for a 2 month internship. I went on an interview for a job this past Friday. I guess we'll see what happens.
I've only been home from NY a week but I can't help but feel frustrated already. I assume it's because I was constantly busy at school. |

I graduated last September and after that I did a internship that lasted through December. Then I did nothing for a few months, going to bunch of interviews
and got nothing. Now I'm just helping out at my uncle's store while still looking..

i graduated in april. until i found a job it was terrible. i moved to a new state for my bf, and job-hunted for a month. until i found one, i was the
bitchiest, mopiest person i've ever been. agh, hated it. now i have a job and while it's not closely related to my major, it's still a great first
job out of college and i like it....and i'm amazingly happy. it was just feeling like i had no purpose that made me miserable.

I graduated in May '07 and I'm still working the same retail job I did while in school. I didn't have a whole lot of debt (except for school loans)
when I graduated, but within the last year that has really changed. My debt has increased dramatically thanks to my car being totalled and health things. I
really want to go to grad school, but I really need to find something that pays more since my hours have been cut like crazy. My degree is worthless and I wish
I had chosen something a little different instead of playing it safe. The only thing keeping me out of grad school is my low gpa and many of the professors I
had don't teach at my school anymore so who would I use for references?
My depression hasn't really set in until recently. Being 26 and not having a career started, not getting hired for jobs I interviewed for, watching your friends get decent paying jobs, etc. Not good for the morale.

It's been 3 months. I wanted to take the summer off and just relax (naively assuming I'd find a job by now).
I'm not depressed yet as I don't have any loans to worry about. But I want a job like NOW so that I'm not wasting away my time doing nothing. |

I graduated in August '07 and have been searching for a job since. I have been on job interviews but didn't get the jobs. During the school year I was
working as a substitute, teacher , which is totally unrelated to my field but it pays the bills. Lately I have been so depressed and generally frustrated with
everything involving the job search. Also it didn't help that my two best friends from my hometown just stopped talking to me because I got mad that they
basically forgot my birthday. I'm going back to the substituting job in September and hopefully I can save up enough money so if I find a job in a new area
I can move there. Honestly, I feel like I really just need a new start.

I graduated this past May and was lucky enough to get a job in my field. I love it.

I graduated in May and took two summer classes to finish off. Those ended end of June and I got a full time job in entertainment PR first week of July. I'm
living with my parents for now while I pay off my college loans which I should be done with in a couple of months. Then it's off on my own.

I graduated in May of last year, got a job a couple months later. Moved out and got my own place, was paying my own bills, making it (barely, but still making
it) on my own, etc.
Couple weeks ago my company downsized and I got laid off. Now I feel like it's back to square one. Except that I'm in a real hurry to find another job soon because I'd like to keep my apartment and car.*sigh* |

It sucks. I graduated in May and I'm in a major rut. I can feel the depression kicking in. This week has been especially bad since everyone is starting
back to classes and I'm not.
I traveled this summer so that was a blast but now it sucks. Been job searching for the last month and haven't had so much as an interview. Living with the rents at the moment. It sucks. I do not like the real world at all. |
