I graduated in May '07. I started a job in TV in NYC in Aug '07. I am still at that job, but have to leave soon since it is only a year longish
program. It was the best year of my life and I am depressed that I have to leave and start all over again.

I graduated in may 07. I moved to Maryland in June and started a job in a management training position. I liked the job and lived on my own and I have about
17k in student loans. After my program was complete I was offered a permanent position with the company in Baltimore. Last month I accepted a better job with
the same company in upstate NY. Next week I'm moving to ny. By the end of 08 I should own a home and have a new car that my company pays for. I'm 95%
happy with the way everything went.

It was awful. I really want/need to do a Masters to be able to use my BA but didn't get accepted for funding and can't afford to do it. I got into a
great course in London but I just can't afford to go. My parents refused to help me anymore even though I have huge loans from my undergrad and they knew
all along I'd need to do further study. It's so depressing to have done so great in college, been accepted for the course of my dreams and not be able
to afford it. Oh well. I've just been drifting for the last year in temp jobs, and I've never been more unhappy. Basically just working to pay the
bills and rent, it's pointless because its getting me nowhere. I'm doing a TEFL course next month so hopefully will be going to teach English overseas.
It's not exactly what I want to do, but it interests me and it's at least partly related to my major.
It's depressing because a lot of my classmates in college are working in all kinds of amazing jobs - the European Commission, translation apprenticeships in Brussels, the kind of thing I always dreamed of doing. I just can't afford to survive on 'intern' pay right now, so I'm hoping I'll have saved a bit of money in the next year or so. |

before. I stayed pretty much where I was - same apartment, living with my husband. He already had a job here, and I got a job here. We wanted to start
saving money for a home so we continued to live frugally.

I worked a full-time job with average pay. I'm still there and I can honestly say if I got fired I wouldn't give a rats ass about it. I am also
depressed slightly since I have a LOT of college debt which still hasn't been paid off. If you're in college, AVOID DEBT AT ALL COSTS. I'm
considering going to law school, but then I don't want to start the debt cycle all over again.

Yeah I was considering getting certification for art education..which'd take a year or so; but am fearful of the extra debt. My only debt is college loans.
