This SUCKS, since I'm usually very helpful and will try to cover/swap with someone when they need it. When I ask people if they can swap I just get "Well, I'm already working..." YES, I know that lets just trade shifts that day. "No...I'm already working."

When I first started working at my current job, people would ask to switch with me. and I figured "why not? maybe they'll have my back when i need to switch later in the future, right? not. I switched with so many people and when I needed to switch everyone blew me off. i know, not really related to your problem. but I hate when people just blow me off like that. ugh.

A few weeks ago I got scheduled for a day I requested off for a friend's bday and no one would switch with me or take my shift. It was so frustrating because I switch or pick up a shift for someone all the damn time. I'm like the first person everyone calls when they need off.
