I work between 15-20 hours a week and it's not a problem at all. I didn't work for my first semester and I was bored out of my mind when I wasn't
in class.

I work about 35-40 hours a week. I have a job on campus which is 10 hrs and usually my retail job is 20-30 hrs a week.

I don't work as in have a real job, but I do cat-sitting, house sitting and I tutor students when I need money. I feel a bit guilty not working but since I
don't have to pay anything for university, I just have to work to pay for my books which are about 300 dollars per semester.

I work 40 hours a week and am a full time student. I'm motivated and excited about what I want to do now so I work hard and my grades don't suffer. I
definitely couldn't handle anymore than
this though. |

I work 40 hours per week, M-F 7:30-4:30, with occasional overtime. I work off campus. I go to school full time and I've made A's in all but one class
(B in that one).
If you have the will power to do the homework and are good at studying than you should be fine. It really depends on you personally. I don't have the option to not work and I don't feel like spending 10 years working on a bachelors. |

I work as an RA on campus. It does not make my grades suffer. I love free housing.

I started working at where my mom works during my second year of college and I worked between 20-24 hours a week. They didn't expect much out of me at
first, but I have now been there part-time for four years and they rely on me for a lot of things to do around the office. I just graduated a few years ago and
I am working more hours there for now, but I am very actively looking for a new job.

I work 20 hours a week, and it's off campus. I go to school in the morning, and work from 4 to 8 Monday through Friday.

Plus, if I had free time I'd sleep or eat or drink or go out and wouldn't study. At least I'd be like "OK. Class from 7:30-4:15. Work from 5-10. Study from 10:30-12:30!!" and it'd work. And on my days off I'd go to the library and study. Working and keeping busy is totally effective. |

I go to class from 7:45am to 11am Mon - Fri and work 40 hours a week Wed - Sun. It keeps my mind off personal things going on at home.

I couldn't have done it. I devoted a ton of time to studying. I also did freelance projects for companies that I wanted to intern at (but never managed to
get one). Plus I partied a lot.

I worked 3 jobs, and it was every Wednesday-Sunday night. I also took 18 credits each semester.

I go to school full-time and work around 20-35hrs a week in a brewhouse. My grades are just fine [Deans List, holler! lol] and I still go out around 4 or 5
nights a week.

I worked off campus in retail but not that many hours. I wanna say no more than 15ish? The only time I remember my grades clearly suffering was when I was in
school full-time, I had an internship two days a week, and I was working two jobs. That sucked.

I had an office job during the summer of my sophmore year and once school started, I quit 2 months after because I just didn't have time to study or do my
HW. I was also getting tired and lazy from working right after classes.

I worked 30-40 hours a week every year except for my first. My last semester, I had two internships + classes...but I didn't have an actual paying job.
