I'm excited about this...I know that one of the FNL producers mentioned that they'd probably do two versions of each episode (adding scenes that
normally would be cut out on NBC) and that it might be a little racier because they didn't have restrictions on DirectTV.
I'm going to have to download the episodes after they air, no way can I wait until 2009 to see this show again. |

From what I understand they'll be airing the uncut versions on DirectTV and then the normal 42 minute episodes will be aired on NBC in early '09.
Hopefully they'll put the uncut versions on DVD when they release them. |

I hope that the place I usually go to for TV episodes will have FNL, someone has to have DirectTV that can upload it.

I'm so glad I have DirecTV!
But I'm confused about something. The season on NBC won't start until the new year, but by then it'll already have been airing for 2 months. Will the season finale be sooner on DirecTV than it will on NBC? I mean cause it'll just be so far ahead. I'm just confused how they are working this. |

I'm not really sure about that, if they'll overlap or not...if there are thirteen episodes and it starts airing in early October, the season could be
done on DirectTV before it starts to air on NBC, which I think I heard would start airing in February.

I wonder how much longer the uncut episodes are going to be. If they're going to be 20 minutes longer to fill up the entire hour or whatever...that adds up
to a few more episodes time-wise if they're extended.
And you better be here spilling details when you watch.
