I just got rejected from an amusement park that I've already worked at.

I'm looking for jobs. I applied there because I figured it was a sure thing. I was wrong.

I hope so. I am going around craigslist and careerbuilder like crazy trying to find things to apply for.

I always think of amusement parks not hiring around this time of year, but that is because I live in a cold climate.

I don't think I'm happy enough for Disney.

This isn't prime hiring season for amusement parks, is it? Quite the opposite, i would think, but IDK.
In any case,

Is it the other amusement park in that area? If so, it's probably because they aren't open in the fall/winter as much as they are during the summer.
Don't feel too bad. Try looking for a job at Border's or something. That looks like a fun place to work.

Even though it isn't prime hiring season, this park is always hiring. The first time I started working there I got hired in the fall and so did my sister.
The bastards sent a postcard that just said that even though I'm a good candidate they decided to peruse other resumes instead or something stupid like that. I think I'll try applying to the Borders and B&N's in the area. My reservation about going to Disney today is that my face looks like all hell and there's no way to apply other than in person.

Disney totally hires anybody, you should go. I kinda want to get a part-time job working weekends at the ticket booth, but I don't know if they would hire
me for just weekends.
And I wonder if I would get a discount on annual passes, cuz that's really the big reason I would want to work there.

Fear not, I was once rejected from McDonalds...and a summer camp I'd worked at for 5 years. Gotta love hiring logic!
Good luck finding something.
