Hm. There's some negro in there! I just googled her and her hair looks like it has some kink. If not, she needs some gold medal conditioner.
Yes, they showed her sister and she looked black, mom is white, so maybe dad is black?

That's what I figured because he sister looked a lot darker than her.

Jaycie Pascal wrote: ME TOO!!! I watched the race over and over again. I give her all the credit in the world for being so gracious at the end. She was flying and you can tell that right before hurdle 9, she didn't even realize how fast she was going. UGH! I wanted her to get that gold so bad!!! Those images of her crying in the tunnel are heartbreaking. She's 26...she could conceivably come back. |

Yeah, I honestly thought she had her emotions in check until I saw her in the tunnel at the end.

OH and I think LoLo is way hotter than that rhythmic gymastics chick from Canada. In fact, that javalin thrower from Paraguay is hotter too!

She was on the Today Show this morning being really gracious as well. They had her next to the gold medalist and I wanted to rip the medal off of her and hand
it to Lolo.

Dude the gold medalist was pissing me off last night. She was a ridiculously sore winner.
Which just made Lolo shine even more, because she was being so gracious. |

I don't knock people who win fair and square, so it takes a lot for someone to be considered a sore winner in my book (i.e., I think Usain Bolt is a badass
who will shut up when someone beats him, but until then, he can be as cocky as possible), but you can't help but pull for someone like Lolo
because of her graciousness.

I noticed Lolo Jones during the US trials and my heart is utterly breaking for her, especially since I just read about the tumultous life she's lead. I
really hope that she gets some deal out of this; it's utterly heartbreaking.
Dawn (I think that's her name, the gold medal winner) really did piss me off. Ugh. |

Glory Glory Hallelujah wrote:Yeah, that woman won the gold medal so she has a right to be happy! She didn't think she was going to win a gold and she was shocked after the race that she won the gold. The Australian chick didn't think she was going to medal at all! She shouldn't have if LoLo hadn't faltered. The Jamaican chick was supposed to get the silver. Usain Bolt is starting to work my nerves but I don't fault him yet. He is currently the fastest man alive....that will tend to go to your head! When he gets beat, he will stfu and go away. |

Exactly, Nik. He IS a cocky bastard, and while I find him entertaining, it will be just as entertaining when someone shuts him up by beating him!

My only problem was that she didn't show any sympathy towards Lolo who was sitting right next to her. She just kept talking about how great she was and how
she knew would win. I'm not saying she should have given up her medal or anything but she could have at least acknowledged the fact that it took something
besides herself to win the race.

Moon and Star wrote: Yeah, I would not have felt as good about the race if at the last hurdle, I was in second place. But she deserves the win because she didn't make any mistakes. I heard her saying she was training with the Kersey's. She doesn't have to be gracious but it would have been nice if she would have been. She wasn't going to win. She was a good stride behind Lolo. DAMMIT!! Why did she have to clip that hurdle!

She must be all talk now. That heffa could NOT believe that she had won. She kept going "WHAT? WHAT? WHAT??" and looking around in disbelief. LMAO,
that does not sound like someone who KNEW they would win. She's full of shit!

But Idelle, she looked shocked after the race....like she couldn't believe it. I don't care what she says now, she was shocked after the race. You
could see it....she was in disbelief on the track for a good 30 seconds.
I guess now that it is 24 hours later, she is thinking she had it in the bag. |
