she didn't know why. She just saw cause she checked her balance online. There wasn't even a reason for the withdraw like if it'll say eBay or
whatever... it was blank. So she called the bank and after she was given the run around she found out that the withdraw was from a collection agency within the
bank! And what happened is that her mom is on the account with her because she made it when she was underage. And her mother has a loan with the bank and is
paying it off through automatic withdrawls. Well the account that the money was being taken out of dried up because it wasn't getting any deposits so the
bank just decided to withdraw the money from any other account with her name on it and that happened to be my coworker's. Isn't that messed up?

That's such shit. It sucks that she's responsible for it when she wasn't even 18 when the account was made. Why should she have to pay for her
mom's dumb decision?
The same thing happened with my best friend and her mom. |

My friend couldn't even get a bank account once she turned 18 because her mom had took a shit all over that shared account.

That happened to my mom because of my dad. He was on her account & they are seperated but he let his loan go overdue & they took the money out of her
account. She couldn't get the money back because they had every legal right to take it but they helped her get a new account set up that day.

Shit like that is why you should never share accounts like that. Same with your car and insurance. You can get totally screwed.

If she's over 18, she can take herself off the shared account and open a new one easily.

Once you turn 18, you can take the guardian off of the account. I have always kept my dad on mine just in case
