I just finished the book. I started the series in the beginning of August and BD I have to say was my least favorite. Mainly for this reason that someone said
to the dot:
I was SERIOUSLY waiting for a HUUGE fight scene and wanted to see how everyone would match up to the Cullens and their fighting force and how Bella would fight as a newborn and everything and the closer I got to the end there were fewer pages and I was like how is SM going to fit an entire fighting scene in this short of time? and sure enough.. I didn't get one and I was like WTF??
VERY disappointed in that. I didn't mind that much that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee, I seriously thought something was going to happen between him and Leah personally. It would've made sense since they started to grow fonder of each other.. and being of the same SPECIES and all and it was just kinda creepy that Renesmee was a baby, but I'm glad Jacob got a somewhat happy ending.
Eclipse was still my favorite though..
3) The ending left me feeling slightly unsatisfied. She spent several chapters building us up for this huge showdown, introducing new vampires with new abilities and really pulling me in so that I wanted to see how they'd fair in a fight against the Volturi. Then the beef is squashed abruptly, the Volturi leave, the guests go home and everything is peachy keen. The ending seemed to leave little room for another sequel.
