Tori and Dean are a great couple. They're both really down to earth. The circumstances when they got together wasn't ideal but both said they were in
bad marriages.. If you read her book, you're thinking why in the hell did she marry Charlie. Sometimes you just meet that right person.

I love them! I didn't before but after watching their show, I love them together. I'm kinda jealous of her family. She seems to have everything going
for her right now.

I saw their best of yesterday too, and they are AMAZING together. I honestly would be shocked if they ever divorced. And yeah... love is TRULY blind cause
there were times I was looking at Tori and going, "Whoa."

I adore them and think their love is so genuine. I hope they have a wonderful life together.
I bought her book and it was so insightful to the affair and her life, and hilarious too. I loved it! |

Tori said on the show the reason she went through wit the wedding was because for the first time she was close with her mother because her mom loved Charlie
and was doing everything with her for the wedding..not the smartest but it makes sense.
whatever i love them lol |

Yeah a huge reason she was so excited to get married was to get closer to her mom. Then her mom ended up screwing them over like the reception, location, and
flying his family out.

Mary Jo's piece was very well written. I didn't view it as her playing the victim card. She was hard on herself at times. And I also don't think
she was making fun of Lifetime viewers. She made it clear that DEAN is the one who actually said that about Lifetime viewers.
I can also hear Dean making fun of Tori and asking for a body double before he left for the shoot, too. He strikes me as the type who would make fun of anyone but himself. The article really didn't make me dislike Dean anymore than I already have been. I vacillate between liking and loathing him. There are times when I see him trying to take care of Tori that I go 'aww', although that's because the cameras are there. Remember when Tori came back from her book tour, and she bitched and moaned about how he didn't take care of her when the cameras weren't around. Tori's comments about being "virile" [sic] enough to have a litter of kids since she's younger [than Mary Jo] are particularly disgusting in light of the fact that she had to have known that MJ suffered numerous miscarriages. I mean, it would be an incredibly nasty thing to say if Dean had married MJ when she was 45 and she had never been able to conceive at all, but to actually taunt another woman about having multiple miscarriages is just beyond vile. It seems like Tori thinks she's winning some contest or proving something by having more of Dean's offspring than Mary Jo, which is sad as well as disgusting. She's in for a very rude awakening when her fairytale with Dean ends (which is inevitable). Dean won't even have to find a rich replacement for her if she keeps pulling in the bucks with her books and whatever else she's doing. I believe they don't have a prenup, so he'll be able to get half of her earnings during the marriage, right? He's "earning" half the dough for this show and whatever other joint ventures they do (and, luckily for him, Tori likes for them to do everything together and sandwiches him in whenever possible) and he'll also be able to get his hands on a portion of the money she's making on her projects that he's not officially involved in like the jewelry and the books. So if things keep going well for Tori for a few more years, Dean may figure he can get enough assets and alimony to break free and hook up with a younger, better looking, less annoying woman. *edited for typos*

I think it was incredibly tacky for them to have a reality show given that they both cheated on and left their spouses to be together. It just left a bad taste
in my mouth, no matter how "adorable" they may be (or act).
I skimmed through Mary Jo's peice. It does read a bit too dramatic, but the fact of the matter is is that he didn't just cheat on her, he cheated on his family (which is why I loathe him more than Tori - he actually had kid(s)). I kind of choked up at the part where she said, "But I am your family," when he apparently (we only have her view) that he wasn't leaving the family, but leaving her. (My close friend is going through something similar with his father cheating/leaving for a younger woman and it's really heartbreaking how much of an impact it has had on the kids - a real sense of betrayal). Guys like Dean are complete douches and will probably end up leaving Tori for a younger woman a few years down the road. |
