I just finished the book. I started the series in the beginning of August and BD I have to say was my least favorite. Mainly for this reason that someone said
to the dot:
3) The ending left me feeling slightly unsatisfied. She spent several chapters building us up for this huge showdown, introducing new vampires with new abilities and really pulling me in so that I wanted to see how they'd fair in a fight against the Volturi. Then the beef is squashed abruptly, the Volturi leave, the guests go home and everything is peachy keen. The ending seemed to leave little room for another sequel. I was SERIOUSLY waiting for a HUUGE fight scene and wanted to see how everyone would match up to the Cullens and their fighting force and how Bella would fight as a newborn and everything and the closer I got to the end there were fewer pages and I was like how is SM going to fit an entire fighting scene in this short of time? and sure enough.. I didn't get one and I was like WTF?? VERY disappointed in that. I didn't mind that much that Jacob imprinted on Renesmee, I seriously thought something was going to happen between him and Leah personally. It would've made sense since they started to grow fonder of each other.. and being of the same SPECIES and all and it was just kinda creepy that Renesmee was a baby, but I'm glad Jacob got a somewhat happy ending. Eclipse was still my favorite though.. |

We seem to be slowing down these past couple of days, what is everyone reading now?
I am working on City of Ashes by cassandra Clare and of course my daily escapades through fanfic world. I would love more rec's for some good fanfics. I have a few regular stories but they don't get updated as often as I would like, guess I am too impatient. |

The Host took me a while to get into but once I finally did (Somewhere around chapter 7 or later can't remember) it was really good. I had a hard time in
the beginning as I've never really read Sci_FI before but by the middle of the book I had a hard time putting it down.

I just finished City of Bones, I'm waiting for the library to get City of Ashes. I'm also reading the 4th book in the Stephanie Plum series, the 4th
book in the Georgia Nicolson series, and the 2nd book in the Vampire Academy series.
I can't remember exact names.

I was a little stunneda t the ending to City of Bones and almost didn't pick up City of Ashes but I am SO glad that I did!!! I won't spoil anything for
ya but READ IT! I am not quite finished yet, I think I have 8 chapters to go in it still so I will probably finished it sometime this weekend. THe third one in
the series comes out in marck, City of Glass....

I thought the third one was called City of Glass. Just wasn't sure.
I wasn't really stunned because I read Annie and someone else (possibly Erin) talking about it in a different thread a few months ago. But I did see
all the signs of it happening.

I've read some of the leaked Midnight Sun. It seems real to me. It reads just like a Stephenie Meyer novel should.
