You could always use a free webhost to start of with & a free template [I would at least change the colours though.] That's what I did before I moved
onto domains & started coding myself.

Oh, I suck at that too. I used to want a JC site, so I tried all sorts of things. I read a lot. I just couldn't grasp it.

Shayme, just go to http://www.tumblr.com and sign up for a blog. They're easy and they don't spam you. Play with
the colors a bit and see what you can do.

Have you seen Adsense for RSS feeds? It looks great. I'm just waiting for them to add my Feedburner account to it.
