Bit of a backstory first: In a few hours I'm going to the airport and moving 3 hours away from home. I tried all of August to get in contact with the best
friend. We'll call her...Sarina. I got a new cell phone, lost all my numbers and couldn't contact her. I left several Facebook messages and finally
this afternoon (err yesterday, technically) Sarina called me.
We discussed getting together for some lunch before I left. I call her. We make plans. She asks me to call her back an hour later. I call and call and she doesn't answer. I leave a message and give up.
Flash forward 12 hours later and she still hasn't gotten back to me.
I'm really pretty hurt.
I mean, it's bad enough she made plans with me and totally broke them, but to do it the day before I leave? I won't get
to see for a very long time after this and it's like she doesn't even care.
