I feel like there's more space, at the top, between the Main Headers and the headlines and then the headlines and the posts.

The font is also off. People's SNs are small. The text inside the quick reply box is small. And the links are white except for visited ones. And the text
is supposed to be a light blue, not white.

I think maybe the text is a light grey. It definitely still doesn't look as bright as it did.

Yep. The normal text color is actually a very light gray. Probably BECAUSE white looks so bright on dark backgrounds.

Oh yeah, it is a light gray. But it's close to white, haha. Pure white would be too bright, you're right.
