If so, do you at least go in the bathroom or somewhere else so that people can't see you?
Two women I work with, one old the other young, both cry ALL THE FUCKING TIME. Over the stupidest shit. And in front of people. I want to punch them in the eye. |

I never ever EVER cry in public or in front of people. But I cry at my apartment, alone. Frequently.

Only in the bathroom and its a private bathroom. I don't cry in front of anyone but my mom.

I take a nice long walk outside. I call it my break. Or I go privately into my co-worker's office, and she shuts the door and we talk through it.

I have before. But I went to my car. And it was over personal stuff; not 'cause someone at work hurt my feelings or anything.

the one i did at the daycare it was when i went into the office because i had had it up to here with a child. i didn't plan on it, it just started coming
out when i started telling her i needed a break.
and when i was a nanny i would cry sometimes and it was kind of privately. one time i tried to hold it in until i got to my jeep but the tears were flowing as soon as i closed the house door. |

Oh lord above no. There's no crying at work at all. We did have a girl who cried all the time and she was let go. Can't be feeling sorry for taxpayers
who don't pay their taxes and can't go crying every time one of them gets a bit upset.
I did cry at work once but it was when I was practicing law and I had my total and complete emotional breakdown while at the office. It was not pretty and while they were understanding and helped me get mental health care, it was so embarrassing. |

I cried at work once, the day after my cat died - I
was using a picture of him as my desktop and forgot about it when I started my computer. It was quick and I made myself think of something else immediately. But my desk is in the back and no one could see me. I'd hope if people could feel it coming, they could at least run to the bathroom. |

Costumers have made me cry before. I left as soon as I could, it was obvious I left to cry in private, but I would never bawl in front of everyone.
