Definitely not as bad as you think it'll be.
Your doctor will most likely talk to you while he/she is down there so you won't be so uncomfortable.

My first gyno appointment lasted about 10 minutes. It is a LOT less painful and agonizing than going to the dentist. For real.

You will spend more time in the waiting room, and more time sitting in the gown waiting for the Dr. than the exam will take. Just relax, focusing on breathing
helps, and it'll be a cake walk.
Now, a colposcopy on the other hand is the real shitty version of a gyn appointment. |

It's really no big deal. I see my doctor walking around the store I work in all the time and that makes it a little odd, but that just ensures we always
have things to talk about int he office.
