I don't think anyone should be treated or looked at any differently because of who they sleep with or what they look like. If you want to marry a man and you're a man yourself, go for it, you're not hurting me or anyone else. You should be able to do what makes you happy and make the best of your life, as I still believe that it's the American way.
I believe that everyone has the right to bear arms, and it shouldn't be that fucking hard to buy a gun or get a gun just because assholes go crazy. I do believe in gun control, but only to a point. I think that some of the banned weapons shouldn't be banned at all. I don't think any firearm should be banned. I think you should have the right to protect you and yours at all times. I think manditory gun locks are stupid, and those laws are also stupid. If you have a gun, and don't teach your kids properly, and they fuck up and shoot someone with your gun, you should both go to jail. People should always be responsible for themselves.
I believe in our National Defense 100% I believe that they protect our Country and (sometimes will) give their lives for their country and they should be taken care of properly. I believe that our guys at war should be our first and foremost responsibility and that Washington beaurocrats shouldn't stand in the way, or play politics on a bill for more armour, guns, relief, ammunition, kevlar, bullet proof vests, equipment, food, quarters and everything else. They're doing what you asked of them, now take care of them and stop playing politics with the laws when it pertains to them.
I believe that our healthcare system needs to be reformed, but I do not support a socialized healthcare system. care one way or the other about socialized healthcare.
I believe that the government should gtfo of our lives.
I believe the government should offer tax breaks to small businesses.
I could go on and on...
Basically I believe we are all responsible for ourselves. I think help should be offered to those that need it, and that it should be watched more closely to ensure people don't abuse the system, which happens all the time. I don't believe offering tax breaks or ofering up to 3X the already nice EIC is fair to the rest of us that are responsible. It's unfair that someone that spits out 5 or 6 kids because they refuse to be on birth control and choose to sleep around should be offered more assistance than someone that is working and can't make ends meet.
okay. I'm stopping now, because I really could go on and on...

38.9 million viewers tuned into John McCain last night. Beat every other speaker at either convention.

Speak on Ari! You speak what many of us Republican woman feel. I, by far, am not a conservative. I consider myself a libertarian, fiscally conservative, socially moderate. The Republican party is finally speaking to us. The women of this country who make up the backbone of the society. We are what make this country so great. Without or strong convictions, loving hearts, and firm belief in our principals, this country will continue to fail. |
