and her wedding is in two weeks! She can't even drink at her bachelorette party (which is Friday) or the wedding. Her mom is totally not happy either.

Eh. I had the champagne toast and one other drink at my wedding. You're too busy to drink!

I have never had children so I could be very wrong. |

At least it won't effect her getting into her gown.

Well, that's not that bad. Was she planning on having kids?

blindpilot wrote: LOL. You can drink in your last trimester in moderation. The beginning of the pregnancy is not a good time to be drinking. |

Yeah, probably best not to drink when organs like the heart and lungs and brain are trying to form.

I would be bummed as well. Cancel the open bar! So much for married bliss.

I hope she's not upset about the pregnancy just because it means she can't drink. That would be really strange.

They didn't want kids for 2 years. Turns out she is 3 months along and never knew. Bad part is that she has been drinking a lot this summer! Either way..
Not much you can do now!

Unless she doesn't want the baby...and in that case, tell her to drink away, and call Obama when she's done. I heard he's a professional baby
killer.

I don't know how much people usually drink at wedding anyway. I've been to some where it's really not a lot.

She might end up being very very tired, too. My friend was at 5 weeks for the bachelorette, 6 weeks for the wedding, and was exhausted.

I hope she gets an ultrasound to see if the kids OK after all that drinking.
Has she told future hubby? |
