Pogs. Even though they were banned after a while in my school (and I'm sure other schools, too).

I loved my Trapperkeeper and had lunchables but what about celebrating the seasons and arts and craft days? I loved making a Valentines Day box and getting
cards to give out.

Those things were called Cootie Catchers? I don't remember what we called them but I sure don't remember them being called that.
On the flip side I can't remember how to make one, and it's annoying me. lol. Only had a few lunchables in life. Had many a shark bite though, and I hated the white ones. lol. Loved them Gushers though. Mmmm. Had one slap bracelet. They too were banned in my school. Never had a trapper keeper though (eventually got a binder that had velcro on it, but I don't think I got that until middle school. Never had a Yoo-hoo. Don't care to ever have one either. Never had a skip it. A friend did though. We all played with it when we went to her house. Loved recess. We should have it now. Hell, america is overweight. We all need to get away from our desks at work and play a little kickball! And going along with that, we all need this back too. Nap Time And we'll not talk about coloring. I may or may not still do that and I'm 27. And I don't recall having many (if at all) Lisa Frank stuff. I mean, it LOOKS familiar, it sounds familiar, but I don't recall it. Maybe just some of my friends had it. Looks too girly to be something I owned. lol. |

Giga-Pets and Tamagachis! And the mechanical pencils that you pulled off when it got dull and pushed it into the bottom of the pencil, and a sharp new point
would be pop out of the top!

Interesting skip-it story. I got my first purple one at age 6, I was playing with it with my friend and she hit it against her cement step and the end of it
broke off, I was devastated. So my mom gets me a new purple one at 10, I was playing with it, went inside for a minute to go to the bathroom but I left it on
the front lawn. When I came back it was gone, a day later it was in pieces on my lawn. Last Christmas my mom bought me a new purple one. However the new ones
suck, they don't have the counter on it anymore.

Some of those things didn't apply to me because I went to school in London, but I used to make cootie catchers all the time.

Do they make Skip-Its for adults? I would LOVE to own one again. I went through 5 of those as a kid. I played with them so much that the ball broke right off

Why in the world is Nap Time not on this list?
and alexisfan4ever22, i have a similar story but about my Giga-Pets and Tamagachis. I had one of each in my little purple backpack purse and went to a party at the Foam Factory and accidentally left it sitting in a corner. i came back to find my backpack had been opened and torn through and the only things missing were my Giga-Pet and Tamagachi. I was so depressed, it was my first dealing with crime, lol. Funny how ive never forgot that day, lol. and was M.A.S.H in middle school or elementary? either way, that game owns me a mansion and a convertable, lol. |
